With educational programs, interactive exhibits and technology showcase displays, the visitors center at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden has something for everyone, young and old. The center is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Operated by the Front Range Community College, the Stargazer Observatory boasts a 14-inch (36-cm) Celestron telescope. The public can visit the center on the third Sunday of each month. Astronomy classes are held through the college.
